I had been on the hunt for the perfect roughout suede leather jacket for some time, to the point I was about to build my own for the shop when one weekend I was at a flea market to come across this beautiful old perfectly worn suede leather jacket on a rack. I unzip it, see the Schott label through it on and its a perfect fit. A piece the could very well be older than me, it was a match made in heaven.
Taking this as a sign the Original Duke Jacket Reignited my love for all things Schott. The Duke unlined heavyweight Leather is an oiled rough out cowhide suede trucker with font center zip, one left front chest zip closure pocket and two hand warmer pockets. The jacket starts off semi smooth with tons of character and over time the roughout pulls up for a beautiful patina and nep.
The body is unlined so you see the smooth leather hide and exposed seams of the jacket body for something a bit different, while the jacket sleeve are lined for easier on and off. A perfect all year weight leather that really has no competition.
The Duke is a true classic that will never go out of style.

The Duke Runs a tad full in the body due to the jacket body being unlined.
We suggest wearing it true to size with a little room or size down if you want it closer to body. Please note the shoulder is still on Typical sizing spec to keep the jacket looking clean and trim even though chest measurements are a bit full.
